Pittsburgh Stone & Waterscapes, LLC is a turn-key general construction company of 39 years with the simple mission of bringing friends and families together through spectacular living spaces. We specialize in expansive residential projects such as: custom pools, indoor & outdoor living spaces, pavilions, pool houses, outdoor kitchens, patio roofs, landscaping, boulder walls and more. We are currently searching for a highly organized, detail-oriented, Project Foreman with significant construction experience. This is not your typical construction Project Foreman position. We have a set process that makes this position much simpler than a traditional Project Foreman position. However, it demands that the individual can closely follow our turn-key process and has excellent communication skills. Because of our turn-key process, our typical hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Work hours over the weekends are extremely limited as most are only due to emergencies. Project Foreman responsibilities include: - Following company processes and operational systems - Communicating assertively and professionally with customers and trade partners daily - Able to manage several projects simultaneously - Able to keep an organized daily log of activity on all designated sites, per our system - Willing to work collaboratively with other PSW staff and trade partners - Uploading daily log and reports to CoConstruct (project management software) - Keeping jobs running on schedule per the Gantt chart - Maintaining an updated calendar daily - Supervising field crews to ensure high-quality production at industry standards - Developing weekly progress reports for customers and internal staff - Forecasting goals and deadlines for field staff - Leading pre-construction meetings prior to project start - Locating additional resources to aid in projects and system building - Acquiring new trade partners to aid in building projects and distributing materials - Following up on customer issues regarding current and previous work Requirements for this position: - A passion for the construction industry - Must be 18+ years old and possess a high school degree or equivalent - A minimum of five years field experience managing field crews in constructing projects involving, but not limited to, decks, pools, landscaping, hardscaping, patio roofs, pool houses, and land development - A professional, positive attitude, enthusiastic, works well as a team, punctual, strong initiative - Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, & the ability to follow strict operational systems - Strong communication skills and an assertive attitude.
