Building Automation/Low-Voltage Controls company seeking an electrician with experience in commercial and industrial construction/installation projects. • Must have solid comprehension of electrical theory and installation codes. • Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics and construction drawings. • Must have experience using power tools, construction equipment, hand tools and voltage meters. • Must be able to mount control panels, install junction boxes and run and bend electrical conduit. • Must be able to pull and route low voltage control wiring including CAT 5/CAT 6 cable. • Must be able to terminate Building Automation controllers, temperature sensors, valves and damper motors. • Must have own tools and reliable transportation. • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up ladders. • Must be willing to travel to various site in the NYC, Northern NJ and Long Island areas. • Must be able to work well with others and instruct junior electricians in day to day task. • Must have knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA 30 certification card.
