This is a full-time seasonal position and all applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and background check. Must be available between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Some Saturday hours may be required depending on the week and weather conditions. We are seeking for talented individuals to join our award-winning landscape installation team. Maintenance/Enhancement Crew Member Responsibilities: * Must have knowledge working with basic landscape maintenance equipment * Knowledge of plant/weed identification and pruning is needed * Insure quality level and completion of work within scheduled time * Layout and install planting beds per plans and drawings * Operate and maintain assigned vehicles, power equipment and hand tools * Communicate openly with clients, supervisor and all team members * Able to follow instructions, attention to detail, work efficiently, and with a team * Own daily work schedules and accurately complete paperwork * Insure quality level and completion of work within scheduled time * Participate in weekly training sessions * Dependable and always on time/early at work * Attend courses and seminars to increase your knowledge and skills Design/Build Crew Member Responsibilities: * Basic masonry skills to include grading and drainage work, bluestone patios, stonewalls and retaining walls made from various stone products * Ability to safely handle tree removal equipment such as; chippers, chainsaws, etc. * DOT Medical Card certified to drive heavy trucks such as a Ford F-550. * Layout and install planting beds per drawings * Operate John Deere backhoe/loader and Caterpillar skidsteer * Layout and install planting beds per plans and drawings * Operate and maintain assigned vehicles, power equipment and hand tools * Communicate openly with clients, supervisor and all team members * Able to follow instructions, attention to detail, work efficiently, and with a team * Own daily work schedules and accurately complete paperwork * Insure quality level and completion of work within scheduled time * Participate in weekly training sessions * Dependable and always on time/early at work * Attend courses and seminars to increase your knowledge and skills Qualifications: * 1-3 years' experience in the landscape and/or construction field * Ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently is a plus * Have working knowledge of Safety Regulations * Drive a truck equipped with a trailer (must possess a clean U.S. valid driver's license) * Available to work 40+ hours per week during the busy season * Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and work at a fast pace for 8+ hours per day in the elements This position will report to our Bethel, CT facility.
