Tsunami is an incredibly sweet, 11 year old pup who is currently at the NYC shelter (MACC). Ready for Rescue, a 501 3 C non-profit is looking for a foster home so we can save him. Despite being 11, Tsunami has a lot of spunk and loves going for walks and he enthusiastically greets people with a hug. And he knows his basic commands like sit and stay. And he loves belly rubs. He wound up at the shelter because his human had to go into a homeless shelter where they do not allow animals. In his previous home reportedly loved to play fetch and chill out on his blanky. It's a heartbreaking story for a really great, big-hearted dog and need your help. He is super cute and has a killer smile, too. Tsunami is a little dog reactive but he seems more overly interested rather than aggressive. He whines a bit and pulls towards other dogs. But he is redirected easily. So he does need an experienced handler who can work on this. We are also happy to pay for training. He's a about 55 lbs and well housebroken. We do need to get him neutered whcih we will cover.
