Full service, family-owned landscaping and lawn care company is seeking a Spray Technician to provide ornamental insect and disease control applications and ornamental weed and fertilizer applications on commercial and residential properties. The Spray Technician will mix and apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides through chemical spray to trees, shrubs, lawns and other botanical features. Job Requirements: • Ornamental Insect and Disease, Ornamental Weed and Commercial Applicator License and/or certification • 12 months’ work experience as a Spray Tech in the areas of pest, fertilizer, and weed control spray applications • Weed and pest identification and treatment • Mixing lawn and plant chemicals • Proper care and handling of lawn and plant chemicals • Recording chemical applications • Driver's License to operate company vehicle • Driving and using a spray truck • Clean Driving Record • Ability to lift 75 lbs. frequently Key Competencies: • Commitment to quality service • Superior customer service • Attention to detail and excellent judgment • Dependability • Initiative • Organizational skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Positive attitude Salary and Benefits: • Compensation is based on experience, credentials and references.
