Meet Fish! A goofy name for an equally goofy pup! Fish is a 6 (almost 7) month old Idaho Shag mix male. Fish has the goofiest personality! He is basically a baby polar bear trapped in a dogs body. If you are looking for a buddy who will continually make you laugh as he slides, flops, and rolls around, he will not disappoint! He is always happy and ready for anything. He loves everyone he meets, humans and dogs alike, but because of his playful and exuberant personality that he cannot seem to contain, some dogs do not particularly enjoy him. He is still very much a puppy, even though he is HUGE, and has a lot of manners still left to learn. He can occasionally be a good citizen when asked, but it's when he feels like it. He can sit, give high fives, does great on a leash, and is house broken although he still has accidents sometimes. He is trained to use a bell to go outside and he LOVES being outside!! This boy loves to play! He also enjoys car rides and adventures. Fish has been around horses, goats, cats, and rabbits. He definitely has a prey drive with cats and rabbits, and he has gone after the goats as well. Horses he behaves around and stays clear of. He is up to date on his vaccinations (except rabies) and has not been neutered yet. Fish would do best in an active household with either a lot of land to roam and enjoy or a fenced yard with a big buddy. He has a tendency to ignore when being called inside and will think it's a super fun game to run away from you if you chase after him. He has always come back home, but this boy likes to "come" on his terms. Fish is a big boy!! We have had him since he was 8 weeks old and he was supposed to be "25 lbs max" and "around knee height". Fish has far exceeded both of those measurements. He is just a tiny bit smaller than our shepherd, and unfortunately his is just going to get bigger, which isn't a good fit for us. It has been a very hard decision to make, we absolutely love this big goof, but he is just too much for us. Text to find out more about him or to set up a time to come meet him!
