Location Maintenance and Repair Technician Part Time - Juneau International Airport Pay Rate $250/month, 2 visits per week of approx. 1 hour per visit. COMPANY BACKGROUND Smarte Carte, Inc. is the leading concessionaire of self-serve vended luggage carts, electronic lockers, commercial strollers and massage chairs, as well as other passenger and guest services.  Smarte Carte is headquartered in St. Paul, MN and has operations in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom, and Singapore. BASIC FUNCTION The Location Maintenance and Repair Technician is responsible for maintenance, functionality and accounting of the luggage carts at the airport. The Location Manager will report to the District Service Manager.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain clean equipment at all times, replace components as needed Working knowledge of equipment and ability to perform maintenance and repairs Perform monthly collections, accounting, deposit and weekly testing of all forms of payment Maintain policy and procedure expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designed Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management (airport management) Other assignments as needed. EDUCATION Technical degree preferred   SKILLS Electrical and mechanical equipment repair skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Maintain accurate records and write reports Proficient in computer and Smartphone use PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lift 40 lbs. to waist height Push/Pull 75-100 lbs. Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Valid Drivers license required Education Preferred Technical/other training or better Licenses & Certifications Required Drivers License Skills Required Time Management Reporting Customer Service Computer Cleaning Behaviors Preferred Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Motivations Required Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help
