PLEASE be careful !! We learned an expensive lesson. DO NOT interact with anyone who refuses to post through the normal CL contact channels. For example: "Y0rKi PuPPies" ( the spelling is strange and is for a number of different breeds, usually small) these often have only an email account listed within the ad description and do not use the regular points of contact offered through CL. Some even have just a phone number to txt for info. They will even offer to send you a contract via your email (it has a fake/not theirs address on it) They will offer for you to come see the pups (again a real but not theirs/fake address) after you pay a deposit. Our "scammer" posed as a homemaker and was incredibly believable and provided all information I asked for immediately. When I called the phone # I got a very believable voicemail & they must have been monitoring because they contacted me back very quickly saying they were on the other line at the time and missed my call. We made a mistake. DON'T YOU BE THE NEXT PERSON TO DO THE SAME !! Lesson learned and Im just trying to let others know as well. The ads are prevalent in Seattle, Belllingham, and Skagit Counties.
