So it's ok with you that some voters who were able to exercise their voting rights will no longer be able to do so because some white republican governor (for the record, I'm a white man) signed away their rights? Close the polls at 5:00? That would exclude people who get off work at 5:00. It would make illegal, delivering water and food to people waiting in line to vote. What? It's un-American. In Georgia, Democratic state Senate Minority Leader Gloria Butler called the efforts by Republicans "voter suppression tactics." "We are witnessing right now a massive and unabashed assault on voting rights unlike anything we’ve seen since the Jim Crow era," Butler added.
