His name is Max, and if you'll offer him a cozy place to lounge and sleep, as well as some safe, supervised legroom to run, bounce, and play a bit in the day, then he'd love for you to be his new owner and friend! Max is a 1 year old male Florida white rabbit, neutered and in perfect health since adopting him. He's also microchipped, with documents to match the chip and his medical care while in Arizona shelters. All this time he's been well cared for, and we've learned that he's got quite a curious playful personality once he warms up to you. His favorite activities include playing with and chewing sticks, cardboard, newspaper and hay, receiving attention, light pets and brushes, and exercising (with supervision) by hopping around and investigating. He's trained to use a cardboard and paper tray as a litter area, it's routinely cleaned. Must at minimum have continuous access to timothy hay, a few cups/large leaves of lettuce and a bit of banana daily. Carrot helps grind teeth. Favorite treats include peanut butter, whole rolled oats, berries and timothy rabbit biscuits (fattening, only sometimes). If you have cats, young children or a large dog, please consider adopting very carefully as rabbits are naturally prey animals, must be kept safe and scare easily. If you have a heart for animals, and the time, space and resources to care for him, I'm happy to set up a meeting to see if you'll be his new forever home. Please come to me if interested, I don't drive. Asking an adoption/rehoming fee of $50, he'll come with his sleeping crate, water bottle, food bowl with some treats, sticks and hay.
