We are hiring exceptional educators for both virtual and in-person opportunities in private and charter schools across the Bay Area, with demand highest in Oakland and the East Bay. Scoot is actively engaging with our partner schools to put together 'sub bubbles' to support them as they transition back to in-person learning. This means you can have the opportunity to obtain guaranteed work at the same school(s), limit your exposure and have consistency in where you're teaching. Often, this will also involve an added precaution of being included in the schools ongoing testing protocols. In-person work already is available and expected to increase, we also have an ongoing need for virtual substitutes for online instruction - we provide free training on this, too! Get on-boarded with Scoot so you can start teaching and working as soon as possible. This can all be done virtually from the comfort of your home - why wait?! Have a 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit OR CA Teaching Credential You’ll get paid: Scoot pays the highest rates among substitute providers in San Francisco! Your daily pay rate varies based on your credentials and the assignment. We’re proud to pay subs the following rates for day-to-day assignments: CA credentialed teachers OR 30 Day Permit teachers =up to $200 a day Support Roles (Teaching Assistant, 1-to-1 aide etc) = up to $165 a day Plus, the opportunity to earn more for long-term assignments!
