Assembler day and night positions available in Fremont and surrounding areas. Lots of available open positions! Day and Night shifts available. 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am Must be able to pass a drug and background test! Responsibilities: · Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. · Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. · Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. · Verifies specifications by measuring the completed component. · Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Communicate with engineers and design staff to ensure consistency and troubleshoot any issues with designs or production. · Quickly and effectively detect malfunctions with machinery and inform managers or upper-level staff of issues as they arise. · Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. · Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Performs product assembly operations on complex components, assemblies, or subassemblies. · Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing unpacking, component preparation, component installation, and assembly of units. • Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines. • Install small components • Will need to use power screwdrivers • Capable of working on a standing position • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
