Full Time Temporary MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Description: The temporary Maintenance Technician will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, in the area(s) of general maintenance, repairs and special projects as needed at CSN properties. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), nonexempt position from approximately April – August 2021. . Reports to: Maintenance Manager Essential Functions and Responsibilities: A. Carpentry • Must be able to perform general carpentry repairs and new projects. • Select specified orders of lumber or other materials. • Assemble materials with nails, dowel pins, glue and/or other appropriate hardware or methods. B. Plumbing/Electrical • Must be able to perform basic electrical and plumbing tasks. C. Gardening • Must be able to perform basic gardening functions such as pruning, yard clean up, and planting plants. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • High School graduate or equivalent • Two years job related experience in carpentry and/or other building trades. • Must be skilled with power tools. • Knowledge and ability to use common hand tools. • Must be able to lift and move 50-70 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. often. • Must be insurable under the agency’s auto insurance policy. • Current CA Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications: • Basic knowledge of Tenant/Landlord Law • Computer literate • Safety oriented • Strong attention to detail Physical Demands: N (Not Applicable)-Activity is not applicable to this occupation.
