Celebrate International Whiskey Day with a whiskey tasting at Seely's Mill located at The Beeman Hotel featuring renowned brands from Texas. To celebrate International Whiskey Day, The Beeman Hotel’s Seely’s Mill will host a whiskey tasting highlighting artisanal whiskey selections from distilleries across Texas. Still Austin Whiskey Co, Five Points Distilling, Acre Distilling and Blackland Distillery will bring their renowned craft whiskeys to The Beeman Hotel for locals and visitors to enjoy. The distillery teams will be onsite for the celebration, sharing samples served alongside BBQ bites from Seely’s Mill and live music. This event is great for whiskey fanatics, foodies, music lovers, and more. The event will feature samples of classics, favorites, and new launches from the visiting whiskey brands, including Spiced Old Fashioneds from The Still Austin, Longhaired Jim Bourbon samples from Acre Distilling, Signature Old Fashioneds from Five Points, and more, highlighting the unique, local flavors of Texas whiskey. Seely’s Mill, which opened in the fall of 2020 at The Beeman Hotel, honors the Lone Star State’s long-standing BBQ traditions with its menu of classic smoked meats and dishes inspired by flavors found throughout Texas. The restaurant honors Texas tradition through its events and programming, offering visitors and guests the opportunity to celebrate the state’s local brands and food culture. Those who cannot make it to the event can swing by Seely’s Mill to sip on their latest menu addition, The Texas Whiskey Flight, which features tastings from select distilleries along the famed Texas Whiskey Trail.
