Environment Control of North Seattle is currently looking to expand our services in the Greater Seattle area by establishing a Water Mitigation & Restoration Services Division. We are looking for an experienced Water Restoration Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience to help us establish and build this new division of our company. Responsibilities As our Water Restoration Project Lead your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: - Work with sales department to help market Water Damage Restoration service. - Give input in purchasing of equipment and tools. - Aid in the development and formalizing of SOP and systems following IICRC requirements and best practices. - Front line and first for our company. - Inspect site and present solutions to the customer. - Use Xactimate software to create proposal, document and invoice for services rendered. - Be the point of contact for the customer and insurance agent throughout the project. - Ensure project is completed in established time frame and to the customer’s satisfaction. - Assist in recruiting and hiring production staff. - Train, develop and manage additional staff for larger jobs and coverage. Requirements - High school graduate or equivalent. - 3+ years’ experience in the restoration or construction industry. - Valid Drivers’ License and clean/insurable driving record. - Available for on-call, 24-hour response schedule as needed. - Exceptional verbal and written and communication skills. - Exceptional customer service skills. - Experience with using mobile software to enter data. - Can read and follow product label. - Fluent using Xactimate software (Preferred). - IICRC certifications: WRT, ASD, AMRT (Preferred). - Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for approval purposes, and requests payments when necessary. - Maintain a clean and safe jobsite at all times. - Overseeing sub-contractors on the job site and work to be completed. - Maintain on-going training & certifications in Restoration Services through classes, seminars, webinars, ect. Physical Demands & Working Conditions - Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise re-positioning objects. - Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting squatting, crawling, and crouching is required. - For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face. - Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: the change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
