Taylor Tools is a manufacturer of tools and machinery for the floor covering and commercial floor preparation markets. We are a multi-million dollar, privately held firm headquartered in Denver Colorado. We fabricate products such as floor covering installation tools, ride on and walk-behind stripper machines, concrete surface preparation and testing equipment. We have global customers throughout the US, Asia, Latin America and Europe. Position Summary: Employee will be assembling components for tools. Work will be performed at our facility in Denver (Montbello). Work hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM • Ability to do repetitive operations. • Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools. • A focus on quality and personal pride in your work. • Familiarity with basic shop safety protocol. • Be able to work well with others. • Ability to use judgment and experience to meet department goals. • Ability to follow instructions to the letter. • High School diploma or GED preferred. • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds. • Able to fluently communicate, read and write in the English language. • Must have good attendance. • Mechanical ability a plus Primary responsibilities • Drill and tap holes with a drill press. • Adjust and grind parts as necessary. • Spot weld assembly’s. • Fasten cables and wiring. • Solder electrical components. • Assemble subassembly’s into completed units. • Inspect and test completed units. • Monitor department inventory and reorders as necessary. • Clean and package completed units for sale.
