Description
Stop flagging this post! I'm trying my hardest to find a potential service dog to take into training to handle a specific disability. Flagging this only makes it harder for me to find what I need without waiting 2 years.
I'm searching for a young dog or older puppy that has papers or can demonstrate basic obedience. (ie sit, stay, come, down, house broken, leash trained.)
Doesnt really matter if it's male or female. But unfortunately, breed does matter. Having a dog already trained will allow me to have them as an esa at my apartment. But not every dog will be able to perform the tasks I will need. Therefore, it must be a medium to large dog breed. Not Great Dane and Saint Bernard big, but still large. Probably around the 100lb mark is where I would probably cut off.
I am taking this dog into further training once he/she is acclimated to their new home and people. This training lasts for years so we will be together constantly. I'm happy to give updates if it's a pet you'd like to keep tabs on.
I'm also happy to answer any questions. I'd much rather do that than sit here watching my posts get flagged over and over from people who think this is against policy. It's not.
I'm willing to pay considerably for the right dog and price and meetings can be discussed. I will want to meet the dog first, and would like to see either paperwork or demonstration of the training the dog already has.
I appreciate the understanding.
