MEDFORD, NY — Road work on State Route 112 will result in lane closures starting Thursday night, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Traffic will be reduced to one lane between Express Drive North and Horseblock Road (Suffolk County Route 16) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights. One direction is subject to closure between Express Drive North and Express Drive South during those times. Cars will be directed onto Express Drive for a detour. The lane closures are expected to be completed in three weeks, weather permitting. Drivers are advised to proceed with caution.
