Press release from : March 25, 2021 Memorial Hospital of Tampa Memorial Hospital of Tampa opened 32 new beds in a major behavioral health expansion last week. This is phase 1 of its expansion of behavioral health services, bringing the bed total to 68. Phase 1 also includes construction of an eight-bed dedicated Psychiatric Emergency Department, opening in May. Once the full project is completed, Tampa Community Hospital will be the largest and most comprehensive adult Behavioral Health Program in Hillsborough County. Read the full press release here.
