SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office's new Operation Visibility campaign celebrates the county's 911 operators. The sheriff's office will share stories and gratitude for the operators who answer emergency calls daily to social media throughout April. "In their behind-the-scenes role, 911 operators are often heard but rarely seen," the SCSO tweeted. "These 'first' first responders have one of the toughest jobs in our profession, which is why the sheriff's office is dedicating the month of April to making 911 operators more visible." These submissions will be shared directly with the sheriff's office 911 operators and posted to social media, including Twitter and Facebook.
