ROCKVILLE, MD — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home. Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Maggie, Missy, Kudos, Curly, and King. My foster family describes me as being fearless, friendly, active, playful affectionate, independent, and talkative. I don't enjoy being held instead I prefer to sit next to you for attention. I really enjoy being petted and will sometimes cry out when you walk away from petting me. I enjoy playing with catnip mice and really like scratching posts. I have great litterbox manners. My foster family said that I'm a super sweet cat who wants all of your attention and that I'm very active for my age (12 years old).
