Stroll through private gardens and a family orchard, enjoying brunch, libations, live music and gardening presentations. Come support Children's Choir of Chico (a 501c3 non profit school of choral music education) on a beautiful spring day, out in the garden (following social distancing protocols, for everyone's health and welfare). You will have the opportunity to consult representatives from: Butte Rose SocietyFloral Native NurseryUC Butte Master GardenersUC Cooperative ExtensionYou will meet Author and Host of "Cultivating Place" - Jennifer Jewell who will have copies of her latest publication "Under Western Skies" available for sale. The proceeds from these sales will benefit CCOC. Copies of "The Earth in Her Hands" will also be available. You will enjoy Musical Performances by: The Singing Bidwells (Featuring Samantha Francis & Ben Ruttenburg)CCOC's Bel Canto singersIn addition, there will be drawings for a limited number of quality prizes. Please plan to wear a face mask during the event, when you are not consuming food or beverages and keep a respectful distance from other parties. This event is being held at a residence on a private road in north Chico. Please approach this residence with care, driving at 20 mph (or less!) and follow directions from the parking attendant out of respect for our neighbors.
