Westfield Kindergarten Students Reunite As Teens

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield High School seniors who attended — more than a decade ago —Lincoln School's inaugural kindergarten classes in 2008-09 recently gathered outside of WHS for special commemorative photos. Students were photographed in their original Lincoln kindergarten class sections. While the Lincoln School was reportedly built in the 1920s, it was renovated and reopened for the 2008-09 school year, offering kindergarten classes as well as preschool classes for kids with special needs. The photos taken this week will be used for "Then and Now" pages for the upcoming WHS 2021 Weather Vane yearbook.
