Man Charged In Meriden Shooting

MERIDEN, CT — A man has been charged in September shooting, according to police. Calvin Fassett, 20, was charged with first-degree assault, carrying a pistol without a permit, and criminal possession of a firearm. Police responded to a report of a shooting Sept. 1 at the Red Roof Inn at 10 Bee St. Police found a man who suffered a gunshot wound who was transported to Hartford Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
