Join us for in-person, indoor worship at Ascension. This will be different from the services you're use to. As allowed by the Diocesan Regathering Task Force, we are excited to offer in-person, indoor worship. Safety is our #1 priority; therefore this experience will be different from the typical services you're used to attending at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension. We will stick to the highest standards provided by the Diocese to keep those who attend safe.This indoor service will be at 12 pm on Easter Sunday, April 04, 2021.What to expect:*NO HOLY EUCHARIST (COMMUNION) WILL BE OFFERED1. Total of 75 attendees, including those who serve2. Digital Registration for this service IS REQUIRED under the Diocesan guidelines for regathering.3. The service is permitted to last NO LONGER THAN 60 MINUTES, including check-in and dismissal. NO LINGERING WILL BE PERMITTED ON-CAMPUS before or after the service. 4. Processions, offering plate, singing, physical passing of the Peace, & printed bulletins are NOT permitted.*HOLY EUCHARIST WILL NOT BE OFFERED5. Instrumental music is permitted (organ/piano)6. You are encouraged to view the digital bulletins on your smartphones/devices in order to follow along with the service *you will receive the digital bulletin in the weekly Ascension emails prior to the service. Some of the registration slots WILL REQUIRE YOU TO HELP WITH THE SERVICE (Verger, Ushering, Setup, Cleanup, Check-in, Lector/Intercessor, etc.). This is the only way to ensure enough volunteers to carry out each service while allowing the maximum number of people to attend.We are grateful that the numbers of new cases and case rate have come down that will enable us to make this offering.
