Bethlehem Baptist Church welcomes you to a Special Drive-In screening of Robin Roberts presents: Mahalia starring Danielle Brooks. As a show of gratitude to her community, Danielle Brooks is cordially inviting members of the Upstate to an exclusive drive-in advanced screening of the upcoming Lifetime film Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia. This screening will be on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 6:30pm in the Bethlehem Life Center Parking lot. The parking is limited so it will be on a 1st come 1st serve basis, so make sure you register early on Eventbrite. Buses, RVs and Trailers are NOT allowed. The upcoming biopic Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia tells the life story of the legendary Mahalia Jackson becoming one of the most revered gospel figures in U.S. history, melding her music with the civil rights movement. Robin Roberts, Co-Anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America serves as Executive Producer. Tony® Award nominee, SAG, and Grammy® Award winning actress Danielle Brooks (“Orange is the New Black”) stars as the legend and civil rights trailblazer and is directed by Tony® Award-winner Kenny Leon (“Fences”). The highly anticipated television movie premieres Saturday, April 3 at 8/7c only on Lifetime. This event will follow all COVID Safety Guidelines as recommended by the CDC and Local Officials. There will be no photography or videography allowed.
