Suspect Takes Cash Register From Peninsula Liquor Store: Police

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A male suspect shattered the front glass door of a Peninsula liquor store on Tuesday in Redwood City and came away with the cash register that contained around $100. He also took a lottery ticket display, according to authorities. The Redwood City Police Department said the incident happened early Tuesday morning at Emerald City Liquors on Jefferson Avenue and was captured on surveillance video. Officers couldn't locate the suspect after a building search upon arriving at the scene.
