Northeast Spray Insulation, a branch of the Installed Building Products (IBP) family of companies, is looking for an insulation installer to fill a full time, permanent position with our company. Northeast Spray Insulation is a well-established, Westbrook based insulation company specializing in the installation of spray foam, cellulose and fiberglass batts in both residential and commercial projects. Starting pay is based on experience. Our days starts promptly at 7am and end when job is complete. Responsibilities: • Loads and logs materials onto the truck and make notations of returned materials • Complete prep work for installation • Attaches insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring or nailing • Operates equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation • Installs Fiberglass Batt insulation, but cutting and measuring to specifications • Repairs and maintains existing insulation • Comply with OSHA and company safety guidelines and procedures • Other duties as required based on company and customer needs Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. • Experience in the construction industry is helpful but not necessary. • Insulation experience is preferred but not necessary - will train the right candidate • Must be able to use common hand tools • Applicant must be able to read job instructions and record materials to work order. ***Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report to be completed and passed prior to offer of employment. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to wear full face or half mask during work shift. • Insulation workers must be able to work in tight places or in high places from ladders or scaffolding. • Must be able to transport and materials up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to work in tight places including attics and crawlspaces • Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding. • Must be able to bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees to handle and install insulation. • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures.
