Pro Drummer (originally from NYC / Studio, Live, Broadway, Touring Veteran) Seeking band, musicians to make some joyful noise. I have spoken to and met some local bands but nothing has clicked yet. I would be very interested in finding and teaming up w/ a guitarist/singer to form a duo. Playing the 'classics' more in an altered acoustic format. I often use alternative sticks (brushes, dowels, hotrods, etc) using a small standard acoustic set but being more of a percussionist on the set....lower impact/less overall volume and creating nice pleasing drum patterns. Think of a night with Paul Simon and Steve Gadd.....Willie Nelson and Jim Keltner.....James Taylor and Russ Kunkel.....John Mellencamp and Kenny Aranoff. I personally think it would be a hit and go over great in local venues, restaurants, etc. Would love to talk more about it w/ the right person. Thanks for reading my post... Peace.
