Guitarist looking to join/start pop punk band

Whats up. Recent Chicago transplant here looking to join or start a pop punk band. Ideally something similar to The Lillingtons, Masked Intruder, Teenage Bottle Rocket, etc. Been playing guitar for 20 years, I'm 36 with legit gear and transportation. Looking to write/record originals, play once or twice a week, and gig once that's doable again. Can do backing vocals and/or screaming as well but not looking to be a lead singer. Lots of different influences and interests musically but I’m really wanting to do something with heavy down strokes and catchy choruses.
