Compensation: Depending on Experience Employment type: Full-time or Part-time w/ opportunity of overtime Eagle Trailers: Portland Trailer Manufacturer for 30 years with a great work environment. We are looking for solid candidates who have great welding experience. We have 3 positions to fill either full time, part time, or swing shift available We build trailers that size from a 4x8 flat bed all the way up to a 8'6 x 30 foot tiny home so you will have the opportunity to work on a multitude of projects. Competitive Wages Vacation and Paid Personal Time Off Piece work compensation available: where you have opportunity to make more than your hourly based on production. Job Summary: The welder is responsible to operate and maintain welding tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company. Both day shift and swing shift are available at this time. Duties/Responsibilities of Job: • Must have own welding equipment: including appropriate clothing, measuring tape, square, bubble level, grinder, weld hood, vice grip, and clamps. • Layout, position, align and fit components into welding fixture as instructed. • Set-up gas-shield mig-welder and weld parts to job specifications. • Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job tasks. Physical demands: • Work indoors and outdoors • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling can be expected. • Long periods standing and walking can also be expected in this position. • Use of basic tools and equipment Work environment: • Exposure to typical manufacturing areas will require the use of personal protective equipment. • The work environment includes your own workstation. • Must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop safely including walking and standing for long periods of time. • Candidates with bilingual ability is a plus
