East Lawn Mortuary & Sierra Hills Memorial Park has multiple immediate openings for Part-Time Care Center Assistants (Removal Technicians) . The right candidates will be available on an on-call basis. Compensation: $60 per removal Essential Job Functions : • Provide removal of deceased from residence or hospital. Transport human remains to Care Center in accordance with state laws and company policies and procedures. • Ensure vehicles are clean, gassed and fully stocked with supplies and personal protective equipment. • Assist funeral staff on services when needed. • Keep mortuary and related areas clean and attractive. • Perform other duties as required. Job Qualifications : • Valid Driver’s License with a Clean Driving Record. • Must adhere to East Lawn Dress Code requirements (clothing allowance provided). • Ability to take directions on the phone and function without direct supervision. • Ability to work with kindness and compassion for deceased and their families, and maintain composure in difficult situations. • Outstanding communication, customer relations and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to perform duties as position requires; this may include proper training for removal and transportation of human remains; requires successful completion of physical exam and 75-pound lift test. • Ability to work 24/7 any day of the week, including holidays and weekends on an on-call basis.
