Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a temporary summer warehouse position in Elkridge, Maryland. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, stocking, filling orders and making hydraulic hoses during the months of May through early August.  The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in warehouse or parts operations, plus seated lift truck experience, required.  High school diploma or equivalent. Requirements: • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision. • Excellent customer satisfaction skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team. • Strong mechanical aptitude required; must be able to learn and apply knowledge of parts, components and equipment.  • Capable of safely operating all material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and other similar material handling equipment. • Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company software.  • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Must be able to work all shifts and overtime as needed to meet customer needs. • Promote a positive customer experience.
