Modis is currently assisting a local client, the World’s Largest Search Engine, in their search to find a Data Collection Operator. This is part of an exciting, fast-growing project within the Search Engine. This is a temporary assignment slated for 6 months. Our team is seeking an Operations Project Coordinator to play a key role in enabling mass adoption of regenerative agriculture practices through techniques in computational agriculture. PAY ($19-$21/hr) DURATION (6 months) Data Collection Operator job responsibilities include • Perform data collection from test fields on a daily basis. • Perform Preventative Maintenance on platform and assist engineering teams with debugging faulty equipment. • Ensure data is uploaded on a timely manner. • Secure all work equipment, charge all portable field devices, and ensure data is uploaded in a timely manner. • Keeping field logs up to date and provide feedback to operations lead on prototype usability. Mandatory Skill/Experience/Education • 1+ year experience working in an outdoor environment Familiarity with basic hand tools (hammers, drills, multimeters, etc) • Strong interpersonal skills and customer management skills • Ability to work outdoors in unsheltered environments for 8 hours + per day (occasionally) • Ability to report to multiple locations throughout a small geographic region (10-mile radius) • Clean driving record (No DUIs, or more than 2 traffic violations during the previous 3 years) • Ability to pass a drug test/screening • Reliable vehicle to travel between locations *For inquires Email [email protected]
