Looking for: Landmark Redevelopment is looking to hire an experienced make ready maintenance technician in a multi-family apartment complex environment. We currently have work in Dallas, TX. Job Description: Job duties include repairing apartment building’s mechanical equipment and general building facilities. Specific duties include painting, repair flooring, work on plumping, electrical and HVAC systems. Electrician skills will be paid at an appropriate higher rate. Their duties will include: replacing electrical outlets, installing lights, running wire, fixing washing machines/dryers, and working with HVAC systems. An applicant with carpenter skills will be paid at an appropriate higher rate as well. Their duties will include replacing/repairing rotting wood, having working knowledge of construction, occasionally working on ceilings or roofs, installing siding, and small construction projects (like building a fence or small balcony). Qualifications: Have own tools - or willing to purchase with company 50% discount program Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, power tools appliances,, drywall, lumber, roofing materials, etc. Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment. Position may include working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, but not required.. Electricians or carpenters will be prioritized. Bilingual (Spanish and English) will be prioritized. Job Type: Full Time Pay: $13-18+ / hr
