Purebred Yellow Labrador Retriever up for adoption. Bindi is only 2 ½ years old and is a sweet dog. She’s about 85 pounds and is beautiful! She is house trained, loves affection, and is up to date on all her shots and vaccinations. We’re only looking for a new home for her because we’ve recently taken on an elderly parent and Bindi is a little too active for the household right now. She is intact but we will not convey papers. We’re requesting a small re-homing fee to ensure she ends up in the right home. She would be best with a family with a large, fenced yard and children and no other dogs (although she lives with two right now). She can match your children's energy and they will love her! She will cuddle, fetch, snuggle, and won’t soil your carpet! We’re in no hurry to get rid of her. She is strong, smart, and is young enough to turn into a great hunting dog. We will only place her in a home we feel is the right place for her. We love her, but right now, she’s in the wrong environment, and we feel we owe it to her to try and find something better for her. Bindi is not a timid, lap dog. She is a driven, rambunctious, fun-loving dog. There is not a bad bone in her body. She'll cuddle and play, lay down and let you scratch her stomach, and then strain against a leash when you walk her. She wants to play with a remarkable passion and will respond best to strong leadership. If you’re looking for a beautiful, amazing, sweet dog that can grow with you and your children will absolutely love, this will be a great addition to your family. We though we'd found the perfect home, but Bindi cried and barked (as dog's will on the first night away from home,) and that was too much for the new owner. Rather than risk them getting rid of her down the road, we thought it best to take her back and keep looking for her forever home. Please call or text to talk about an appointment to see her.
