Spectrum Services Inc., a leader in providing the wireless industry a wide variety of services including construction, maintenance and modifications for wireless and cell providers throughout the western states is currently recruiting for entry level and experienced Cell Tower Technicians and Foremen. Scope The qualified applicant will learn and perform all aspects of labor for new tower and communication site construction, modifications and maintenance of existing structures, lighting systems, radio equipment, antennas and RF transmission lines. Spectrum holds all of its employees to a high level of safety awareness and quality standards. Spectrum is a drug free workplace. This position focuses on physical construction labor and general construction duties and practices. Military experience, telecommunications, fiber optic, concrete work and electrical systems knowledge are desired but not mandatory. Experience working on T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T communication systems is desired. Position responsibilities include: • Work with basic hand tools and safety equipment. • Ability to work outdoors in the elements. • Ability to work as a part of a dynamic team. • Ability to take and understand written and verbal direction. • Ability to travel and work in remote locations outside of the metropolitan area. • Maintain OSHA safety requirements at all times. • Understanding and ability to process RFDS and read construction drawings. • Perform JSA, maintain team safety and insure proper PPE is used Qualifications • Construction experience is desired. • Active participation in the construction process through construction completion, punch list and turn over in a timely and economical basis. • Direct participation in site construction activities including the delivery and use of materials, tools and equipment, the quality of construction, worker productivity and safety. • Perform various duties associated with construction and maintenance work including extensive general laboring responsibilities, operations of trenching equipment, concrete installation and underground pipe installation. • The position requires the applicant to work in various work environments including developed, undeveloped and remote jobsite locations. • General knowledge of concrete placement and finishing. General knowledge and use of basic construction tools including reading a tape measure. • Applicant shall perform tasks involving deployment and operation of materials-handling and construction equipment. • Ability to read and review architecture, engineering and utility plans. • Applicant must have a valid driver's license. • Ability to read, write and understand verbal direction and communication. • Our team focused work environment calls for employees with strong mechanical, interpersonal and customer sensitivity skills. • OSHA 10 hour certification is desired but not mandatory. • Valid Driver’s license is mandatory.
