Description
Furniture delivery drivers needed for busy upholstery shop in Glenview 2-3 Saturdays per month. You must be reliable, honest, friendly, and careful. These are long term positions for the right candidates.
Start time is 8:30 a.m. sharp. Route runs until approximately 2 pm; sometimes longer. Drivers will be required to drive a 7' x 13' box truck; must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record - no special license required.
Candidates must have an experience in moving furniture, be strong enough to lift one end of a sofa and be able to carefully navigate thru doorways, hallways, etc. There will be two drivers at all times.
This position also requires some light warehouse sweeping, taking out recycling and trash, and straightening upholstery supplies in warehouse.
Knowledge of North Shore is helpful.
