Job Description:We are looking for a Manufacturing Maintenance - AEM (Automated Equipment Mechanic) Skilled Trades person to join our Film Finishing Division team in Rochester, NY. This Maintenance AEM position will work both independently and with other members of our maintenance and engineering teams to provide support for a wide variety of equipment in our Finishing department's manufacturing areas. Description of Job:The AEM Skilled Trade Mechanic will utilize their multi-discipline skills (both mechanical and electrical) to repair, maintain, install, and provide necessary enhancements to equipment.Troubleshoot and repair production equipment as neededWork with other members of the Finishing team to resolve equipment issuesPerform alignment and adjustments with test equipment and production equipmentReading existing programs (to a degree), modify programs if neededAbility to change focus based on priorities Required Skills/Experience:Highly involved and motivated, with good Mechanical and Electrical skillsProficient in math functions, fractions, decimals, etc.Must demonstrate proper effective analytical troubleshooting/Root Cause Analysis skillsExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.Able to read and, to a degree, write/modify/update programs (if needed)Ability to align and adjust various pieces of equipment, when neededExperience with machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, drill-press, etc.)Must have ability to work individually and with a team as neededMust always be SAFE with quality workmanshipMust be able to work in dark-room conditions on occasionGood Communication skills requiredAble to record data and analyzeAbility to work a rotational shift schedule if necessary Experience Level: At least 3-yrs of experience Minimum Education Level: High School Graduate, preferably with technical certification.
