Save Our Soles is a design, marketing and manufacturer of the finest socks serving the cycling, running, skiing and outdoor markets. All production occurs at our Broomfield facility. We have immediate opening for a third shift Knitting Machine Technician/Operator. Responsibilities include: • Setup knitting machines for sock production • Inspect socks produced for any QC issues • Complete job tickets and other production paperwork • Trouble shoot any problems with knitting machines and repair • Reload yarn on knitting machines as needed • Maintain a clean and orderly knitting room • Produce the best socks the world has ever known • Please note, there is no actual knitting, sewing or sewing machines involved in this position Requirements include: • Mechanically inclined • Electronics experience • Curiosity about how things are made • Abundance of patience • Excellent problem solving skills • Ability to stand for long periods • Lift up to 25 pounds • Read, write and speak some English • Good vision and cannot be color blind • Good hand/eye coordination • Excellent attention to detail • Can work well with others as a team member • No previous experience is required, however, general production experience is a plus • All training is provided on site during first/second shifts We have a third shift begins Monday night through Saturday morning with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay starts at $16.00/hour during training with increases based on learning ability and shift differential.
