Bunny! Harlequin Mini Rex Rabbit

Description

Oliver is a beautiful harlequin mini rex bunny looking for a new home! He is one year old and has been with us since he was a baby. Unfortunately he is getting picked on too much by our other pets, so after a lot of thought we sadly decided it's in his best interest to find a new home. Reasons why Oliver is a GREAT pet: He is snuggly and sweet! He cuddles (as you can see in the pics, he lays belly up in our laps or in our arms) and has never tried to bite us - and we've had him since he was 6 weeks old! He's a pretty relaxed, tolerant guy. He is litter box trained! He always uses his box and we can let him run around the house without fear of him going to the bathroom outside his box. (Chewing is another story - be sure to protect your cords and chewable objects if you're not going to watch him while he's out of his pen.) He's already neutered and in excellent health! We have taken care of his healthcare needs since day one and feed him top-quality foods and fresh veg. He is young and has a long life ahead of him - his lifespan is about ten years. He's absolutely stunning! He has a beautiful harlequin coat, he's incredibly soft (Mini Rex are way softer than most bunnies), and he's a small guy - Mini Rex are little bunnies and he is full grown at about 4.5 pounds. No worries about a bunny that will grow up to be huge or ill-natured! He is used to living around cats and dogs - but of course since he's a bunny he's a bit skittish of them and prefers to find his own spot to chill. Barking doesn't bother him at all! Oliver would love to find a new home where he can get plenty of cuddles and affection! He does NOT come with any supplies - but I will send with you some of the food, hay and litter he is used to using to get you started. What he's used to: he lives in a dog playpen with room to run around in (not a bunny cage), and comes out to spend time with us and explore. He uses a cat litterbox, but with corn litter (clay litter isn't good for bunnies). He eats mostly hay, with some pellets and bunny treats. He loves fresh veggies, especially lettuce and greens. Fresh veggies are the fastest way to his heart! He also enjoys rabbit toys to chew on. Oliver's rehoming fee is $60. Send me a message if you are interested, or if you have any questions about him. We are so sad to see him go, but hopeful he finds a wonderful new home!
