As a Journeyman carpenter you will have the satisfaction of being a part of a legacy of beautiful timber bridges across the United States. Responsibilities • General timber construction tasks including erecting, assembling, and repairing of structures. • Fabrication and assembly of structures utilizing power tools, fasteners, and reading drawings. • Reading drawings, take-offs, purchase orders, and job packages. • Complete various carpentry tasks as delegated by onsite foreman. • General bridge finishing tasks including pressure washing, sanding and assisting foreman on site with coatings application. • Working with others to complete site preparation and clean-up tasks. Requirements • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions & environments. • Ability to work at various heights. • Requires substantial physical demands. • Previous carpentry experience working with wood structures. • Previous experience with use of rollers, brushes and sprayers to achieve the desired look of our finished project. • Ability to work with and handle various types of saws such as chain, jig, circular and table. • Heavy timber framing experience is a PLUS. • Painting experience is a PLUS. • Heavy equipment operating and leadership skills are a PLUS. • Possesses OSHA 10 or CPR or First Aid or DOT a PLUS. ***ABILITY TO CONTINOUSLY TRAVEL NATIONALLY FULL-TIME IS MANDATORY*** Skills • Hand-Eye Coordination • Ability to Reason Wages & Benefits (after qualifying period) • $15-18/hour starting wage based on qualifications • Per-Diem • Overtime • Company paid health benefits • Paid Holidays & PTO accrued • 401K and 4% Company contribution • Discretionary Year End Bonus • Profit Sharing Opportunity to earn: $48,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year ***Compensation is based on skill level & experience. *** Job Type: Full-time Learn more about our company at - www.ybc.com To apply please reply to this job posting with a resume.
