Identity politics are ruining this country

It’s unfortunate but every time someone or something is mentioned now in a news article they place race and gender at the forefront of the story as if it was the defining factor into what the cause was of what happened. Did everyone forget what Martin Luther King JR. Said? That he had a dream that man wouldn’t be judged by the color of his skin by the content of his character? I feel like in today’s current standards they would tell MLK he was a racist for saying that. News stations, quit reporting that the man was white, or black, or an immigrant, to push your scare and divide tactics. There are bad as well as good people in all races.
