Job Description compensation: $ 18.00 PER HOUR for 40 hours/week or more, $16.00 per hour for 24 hours/week, employment type: full-time, part-time (3 day minimum per week), seasonal, filling positions immediately Maintenance staff are key to exceeding guest expectations. Our groundskeepers work daily from April – December, daytime shifts only. We also encourage college students attending virtually and looking for full-time work through November to apply. Prior experience in lawn care and outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include daily campsite and fire-ring cleaning, swimming pool maintenance, garbage pickup, raking, mowing, trimming, blowing, clearing of brush, weeding, shoveling, fall cleanup, light construction/excavation and all other outdoor maintenance related tasks. Ability to work safely with powered maintenance equipment is required. Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather from 8 am – 5 pm, every day of the week, including weekends (until mid-October, then weekends off). Days off are scheduled on weekdays, not on weekends during the guest season (which ends mid-October). Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. Valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle required. Wage commensurate with experience and commitment to a full-time schedule, starting at $16.00. Overtime available during higher occupancy periods.
