***PART TIME JOB WITH FULL TIME BENEFITS*** Full Job Description CBMVT (San-Mar Cleaning Services) is a premier commercial janitorial/building maintenance company in the Burlington, Vermont market. Our customers include medical facilities, colleges, commercial offices and automotive retail stores. We are looking for a dependable Working Night Supervisor to be responsible for all aspects of supervising a janitorial night shift. The ideal Working Night Supervisor candidate will have at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Responsibilities • Writes a nightly report recapping the shift. • Conducts high level of customer service through in person meetings, texts and email communications to address issues and concerns with employees, staff and customers. • Upsells relevant additional services in communications with customers. • Performs quality control inspections. • Trains new staff and keeps all staff up to date on all proper cleaning and safety techniques. • Directs and coordinates activities concerned with management of resources. • Delivers time sensitive services, and appropriate communication and follow-up with clients and superiors. • Responsible for supplies ordering and procurement where necessary. • Manages staff by preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties. • Appraises the performance of employees and provides feedback • Maintains equipment. • Documents employee evaluations to ensure services are up to CBMVT‘s standards. • Supports conflict resolution between staff members. Skills • Interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, employees, vendors and the public. • Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices. • Ability to plan, organize and supervise. • Problem solving skills. Qualifications • • High school or equivalent (Required) • Supervising experience: 3 years (Required) • Driver's License (Required) Other • Use of a company mobile phone. • Use of a company vehicle during the shift.
