Hi, my name is Nathanael Kaminski and if you or anyone you know is a musician and wants to make music, this is my formal call to you! For years now, I've had a burning desire and passion to create and to make myself heard. I am a complete beginner and amateur vocalist who would love to start a band and write some material together. I have no real formal voice training aside from vocal lessons I recently started taking, but I have a background in poetry and writing and want more than anything to assemble and collaborate with other like-minded individuals interested in experimenting and having a fun time together making music. There are no ulterior motives in my reaching out; I simply want to express all what's raged inside me for so long now, and to have a good time doing so with others. It's worth noting some of my major influences but please keep in mind that I want to be as open as possible about whatever sounds you're most interested in as well, so long as they are authentic and genuine to you! Some influences include Daughters, Joy Division, Nick Cave (both the Bad Seeds and the Birthday Party), The Murder Capital, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Model/Actriz, Scott Walker, The Jesus Lizard, Bauhaus, black midi, HEALTH, HMLTD, Iceage, Leonard Cohen, Lingua Ignota, Death Grips, Have a Nice Life, Metz, Moss Icon, my bloody valentine, Xiu Xiu, Slint, Throbbing Gristle, Nurse With Wound, Sutcliffe Jügende, Whitehouse, Old Gray, Cursive, Swans (I especially love the viscerality of their early works), and so much more!
