Older female calico cat looking for forever home

Nala is a 7-year-old female calico. We adopted her from KC Pet Project around 6 months ago, and while she and I get along, she has had a hard time adjusting to a home with young kids. She’s a very sweet lap cat. She’ll be shy in her new home at first (it took her a while to venture away from her safe spot here in our home), but she comes when called by her name. She would do best in a home without small children and with an experienced cat owner. She is finicky with touch and petting and prefers to let you know when she’s in the mood for head scratches. Since she’s older, she’s not very playful and would rather spend her day relaxing and watching the birds out the window. She’s up-to-date on shots, is spayed, and is microchipped. She still has her claws. She’s low maintenance and loves to sleep on/near her human. We’re asking a $50 re-homing fee.
