Have you ever wondered how to make natural handmade soap? Here is your chance! Learn to make soap the traditional way, using a method called Cold Process. This class will give you safety tips as well as a beginner's Cold Process soap recipe. Each class combines a demo and directions to make a 1lb batch of scented and colored soap. We will review various soap ingredients including oils and butters, and most importantly lye safety. Each student will receive a pack of handouts with recipes, ingredients, and soap making instructions. Please dress in an old long sleeved shirt, jeans or sweats.
