Private farm seeks a Gardener who will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the residence and grounds. This is a full-time live-out position Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm $15 per hour ++ depending on experience. This position also includes paid holidays and PTO days. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: • Ground maintenance, landscaping • Trimming of hedges and ground cover as necessary • Irrigation maintenance & repair knowledge a plus • Work with woodchipper as needed • Able to drive and operate large tractors and riding mowers • General maintenance and cleaning of gardening tools and equipment • Assist with the cleaning of family vehicles • Assist with horses as needed • Lay sod and/or seed as necessary • Unload shavings and hay from truck shipments • Work in conjunction with farm staff to receive daily tasks and assess what needs to be taken care of on the property Requirements: • Excellent references and longevity in previous positions • At least three years of gardening experience • Must be in excellent physical condition (capable of heavy lifting, etc.) • Good English communication skills • OK with animals • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Legal ability to work in the U.S. • Background check required Please email your resume for consideration Include job title in the subject line
