The Canine Culture has an immediate opening for a permanent part-time kennel technician. Hours are flexible and can be customized to fit your availability, however the more availability you have, the more hours we can give you. Typically our technicians work up to six shifts of 3 - 5 hours each per week depending on availability and business needs. You will need reliable transportation, preferably your own vehicle, and ideally live within 20 miles of our facility. Prior related experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right individual. The work is physically demanding so you need to be in excellent condition, fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. You will be responsible for the care of our canine guests (we don't board cats or other animals). Your job will include the cleaning of indoor/outdoor animal enclosures, feeding, exercising, medicating if needed, greeting arriving guests and returning dogs to their families at departure.
